The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a stable and experienced commercial team. The role will involve managing costs and commercial performance across a varied project portfolio, including lower-value maintenance and reactive contracts as well as larger bespoke new-build schemes. Projects are delivered predominantly under NEC forms of contract, with ongoing support and development provided to build expertise in this area. The position offers hybrid working, flexibility to suit individual circumstances, and a regional project base with no extensive travel requirements.

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Understanding of contract administration and commercial management principles.
• Exposure to NEC contracts would be advantageous, although training and development will be provided.
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree qualified or working towards a relevant professional qualification is desirable.
