Job Title: MEP Project Manager
Location: Banbury - Site-based 5 days a week
Rate: £500-£550/day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Contract: Long-Term rolling contract
Start Date: Flexible - Can wait for the right person
We're looking for an on-site MEP Project Manager to oversee the delivery and interface of  MEP works across two buildings on HS2.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have managed substantial MEP packages on complex infrastructure, major stations, data centres or similarly technically demanding projects.
Where you will add value:
·Managing the MEP contractor interface, ensuring subcontractors are prepared to mobilise and deliver the works.
·Overseeing the buildability, technical requirements and readiness of MEP installations ahead of construction.
·Managing pre-construction documentation, technical submissions and site readiness.
·Coordinating subcontractors, construction teams and wider project interfaces.
·Monitoring progress, programme performance and sequencing to ensure effective MEP delivery.
·Providing technical input into installation methodologies, system integration and resolving complex site issues.
·Supporting commissioning activities, identifying potential issues early and driving solutions through to resolution.
·Working proactively with the wider project team to overcome challenges and maintain progress.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
·Major Project Experience: A proven track record of managing substantial MEP projects or packages valued at £20 million or more, rather than predominantly smaller individual projects.
·Contractor Background: Strong MEP Project Management experience working for an MEP contractor or specialist subcontractor.
·Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of MEP installation, system integration and commissioning, ideally with an electrical engineering background.
·Relevant Sector Experience: Experience delivering complex MEP works across major rail or station projects, data centres or other large-scale infrastructure and technically demanding environments.
·BMS & SCADA: Practical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA and associated controls or interfaces.
·Site Delivery: Hands-on experience managing MEP installation, subcontractor coordination, sequencing and commissioning on site.
·Problem-Solving: A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to identify issues, take ownership and develop practical solutions.
·CSCS Card: Essential.
·SMSTS: Preferred, but can be worked around.
