Rail Senior Site Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the rail industry, is seeking a Senior Site Manager with a strong background in rail and heavy civils to join their team based in Cornwall. This is a contract position that has been deemed inside IR35 with a 12 month duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing site operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing and coordinating a team of site engineers, supervisors, and operatives
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Implementing and monitoring project plans according to NEC Option A contracts
- Managing temporary works with Temporary Works experience
- Working closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed reports for senior management
- Addressing any technical issues that arise during construction
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in rail and heavy civils projects
- Proficiency in managing NEC Option A contracts
- NVQ Level 6 qualification
- Rail industry certifications, including PTS and CSCS
- Experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
- Excellent technical understanding and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to commute to Cornwall, or be based locally
- Capability to work within the IR35 framework
