Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join the Workplace Experience team at a three-floor site, providing the main reception service for the entire building.
Job Overview
As a key front-of-house representative, you will act as an ambassador for exceptional workplace experience, delivering a welcoming and professional service to customers, building users, and visitors. You will play a central role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Working within a busy reception environment, you will collaborate closely with the onsite Security Officer to provide a seamless visitor experience. Full training will be provided on site-specific systems and processes, and you will support workplace activities, enquiries, and events across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-class customer service to all visitors, customers, and colleagues.
- Provide a warm and professional welcome as the main point of contact for requests and enquiries.
- Work closely with the security team to ensure all site processes are followed.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries and support room bookings and room set-ups in a polite and professional manner.
- Support the onsite management team with events and workplace activities.
- Build positive relationships with visitors and customers, capturing individual requirements for future visits.
- Conduct building tours to ensure best practice standards are maintained and report any faults or concerns promptly.
- Provide support to the Workplace Experience team, including assistance with key events and cover during periods of annual leave.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner who can adapt to new processes, systems, and working environments.
- Experience working within professional corporate sites while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to share observations and feedback effectively with colleagues.
