Recruitment and Resourcing Manager

PS Ltd is seeking an experienced Recruitment & Resourcing Manager to join a fast-paced logistics operation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the business attracts, recruits and retains high-quality drivers and operational staff while maintaining strong relationships with external recruitment partners.

Salary: £35k - £40k

up to £10k bonus pa

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for HGV Drivers and operational roles.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified drivers to support business growth and operational requirements.
  • Develop and manage relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring service levels and cost controls are maintained.
  • Coordinate driver onboarding, compliance checks and induction processes.
  • Work closely with operational teams to understand resource requirements and workforce planning needs.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, agency spend and vacancy performance.
  • Support retention initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with relevant employment legislation and industry standards.

About You

  • Previous recruitment experience within transport, logistics, distribution or driving sectors.
  • Proven experience recruiting HGV Drivers and managing agency suppliers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Knowledge of driver compliance requirements would be advantageous.
  • Experience in workforce planning, resourcing or recruitment management preferred.
