Purpose of the Role:
This role is designed for a driven Recruitment Consultant responsible for maintaining and growing an established desk within BRG’s specialist sectors. The Consultant will operate across the full 360° recruitment cycle, with a strong focus on business development, client acquisition, and consistent billing performance. The role offers a clear pathway for progression into senior and leadership positions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Desk Development & Management:
- Maintain and further build an established recruitment desk of 15 years standing
- Identify further target markets and develop a strategic approach to client acquisition
- Deliver full-cycle recruitment - client engagement, job briefing, candidate sourcing, placement and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of activity and performance in the CRM
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and win new clients within the assigned sector
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships
- Continue to position BRG as a trusted recruitment partner in the market
Candidate Management:
- Source, screen and interview candidates for specialist roles
- Build candidate pipelines aligned with client needs
- Ensure high-quality candidate experience and compliance with BRG recruitment standards
Billing & Performance:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly billing targets
- Monitor and report on desk activity, pipeline health, and placement outcomes
- Contribute to team goals and collaborate with colleagues across the division

Progression Pathway:
- Desk Launch Phase: Establish and grow a new desk with support from Management & leadership
- Billing Phase: Achieve consistent billing performance and client retention
- Growth Phase: Progress into Senior Consultant or team leadership roles based on performance and contribution
Compensation & Incentives:
Base Salary: £30,000pa to £40,000pa DOE
Our Consultants earn:
Year 1 - £50,000pa to £60,000pa OTE
Year 2 - £70,000pa to £100,000pa OTE
Year 3 - £120,000pa+ OTE
Commission Structure: Competitive commission aligned with billing performance
