The Opportunity

Got People are looking for an experienced and ambitious  Recruitment Consultant to join our established Driving/Industrial Division.

Are you an experienced 360 consultant, Senior consultant, resource specialist preferably with driving or industrial experience?

You’ll be working within a busy, fast-paced recruitment environment 

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the commercial side of recruitment, is confident developing new business and, just as importantly, understands that successful driving recruitment is built on excellent service, strong candidate relationships and being able to deliver when clients need you.

• Support/Develop new business across the driving, transport and logistics sectors
• Identify and approach clients through calls, networking, meetings and site visits
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth
• Build long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted recruitment partner
• Understand clients' operations, shift patterns, peak periods and individual recruitment requirements

• Source, attract and register candidates 
• Advertise vacancies and proactively build your candidate database
• Interview and assess candidates for suitable assignments
• Maintain regular contact with drivers regarding availability and upcoming work
• Match the right candidates to the right clients and assignments
• Build a strong, dependable driver pool capable of supporting both planned and short-notice bookings

• Ensure all drivers meet required legal and client-specific compliance standards
• Check driving licences, Driver CPC, Digi Tacho cards, Right to Work documentation and other relevant requirements
• Maintain accurate candidate and client information on our CRM system
• Work closely with our payroll and administration teams
• Manage bookings, cancellations and last-minute changes efficiently
• Maintain a consistently high level of service to both clients and candidates

You will need:

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Driving, Logistics or Industrial recruitment
• Proven experience within recruitment role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Good negotiation and commercial awareness
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage a busy temporary desk
• The ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing client requirements
• A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach
• A genuine commitment to providing a great service to clients and candidates

Knowledge of Drivers' Hours, Working Time Regulations, Driver CPC and driving compliance would be a strong advantage.
