The Purpose of the Role
- As a Consultant at Pertemps you will have an engaging communication style to build enduring relationships with our clients, candidates, and colleagues to match people to permanent and contingent jobs, providing expert support and advice, ensuring that the best possible service is delivered at all times.
- The role requires an enthusiastic and proactive outlook with excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills, providing tactical and strategic solutions on service delivery and inclusive talent attraction strategies.
- Representing Pertemps, working as an individual or part of a team, the role delivers consultative support for services to our candidates and clients including but not limited to the recruitment cycle, legislative compliance, contract governance, worker care, payroll, pre-employment screening and reporting - driving continuous improvement to maximise on existing and new opportunities.
- Meeting and exceeding forecasted sales and delivery targets, to achieve individual and overall team / departmental / client budgets, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), following company guidelines and processes.
- Meet or exceed forecasted individual, branch, and client financial, SLA and KPI targets through innovative and proactive service delivery to clients and candidates.
- Match clients and candidates’ suitability for roles to successfully meet their requirements.
- Develop and maintain enduring inclusive client, candidate, and colleague relationships.
- Complete relevant quality processes and checks to ensure all ethical and legal compliance is adhered to.
Essential Experience
- Understand the principles of the recruitment and selection processes.
- Understand agreed job-related minimum performance standards, KPI’s (vacancies taken, sales/service calls, client visits, ratios of shortlisting to interviews to offer and hire etc.) and how they will be assessed and measured.
- Understand employee rights and responsibilities including equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Good written and verbal command of English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage relationships across all levels.
- Experience of a customer facing role.
Desired Experience (full training will be provided if no experience)
- Proven experience, ideally within a recruitment, or sales focused environment, interacting with both a wide portfolio of customers, whilst demonstrating the ability to communicate with the public.
- Understand and apply the principles of negotiation with clients, to maximise service delivery, sales, revenue, and profit.
- Understand the legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements within the end-to-end recruitment cycle, implementing the appropriate codes of practice when needed.
