HR & Compliance Manager / Advisor

Part-Time or Full-Time | £30,000–£40,000 DOE

We are working with a highly regarded international recruitment business that is looking to add an experienced HR & Compliance professional to their team.

The business operates across a range of specialist recruitment markets including Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Marine, Engineering and Technology, working with clients and candidates internationally.

This is a flexible opportunity, with the client open to considering both part-time and full-time candidates. The exact hours and working pattern can be discussed depending on your requirements and experience.

The Role

You will take ownership of a broad range of HR and compliance responsibilities, working closely with the senior management team and supporting the business across its people and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day HR processes and employee queries
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintaining employee records, contracts and HR documentation
  • Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting performance management and employee relations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation
  • Managing internal compliance processes and documentation
  • Supporting right-to-work and other relevant checks
  • Assisting with audits and regulatory requirements
  • Providing practical HR and compliance guidance to managers and employees
  • Reviewing and improving existing processes

About You

We are open to candidates from a range of sectors, provided you have solid experience across HR, compliance or a combination of both.

You could be coming from a recruitment, professional services, financial services, engineering, energy or another regulated/fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced across HR and/or compliance
  • Knowledgeable of UK employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Confident communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Practical and solutions-focused
  • Happy working in a hands-on role within a growing business

CIPD or relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous, but are not essential.

The Package

  • £30,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Part-time or full-time considered
