At Goom Electrical, we're looking for a Recruitment Manager to help us attract and onboard talented electricians and other skilled professionals. This role is focused on candidate recruitment and onboarding—not sales.
The Role
Monday to Friday - Office Based 40 hours a week
You'll be responsible for managing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates through to onboarding, ensuring every new starter has a positive experience while remaining fully compliant with company and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen and interview candidates for live vacancies.
- Build strong relationships with candidates through consistent and high volume outbound calling and a variety of communication methods, including phone, email, text and WhatsApp.
- Book and manage candidates interview process.
- Proactively contact potential candidates to discuss opportunities, qualify their experience and match them to suitable roles.
- Manage multiple job boards, ensuring adverts are engaging, up to date and performing effectively by working closely with the job board providers to maximise advert performance, candidate attraction and return on investment.
- Advertise vacancies and proactively search for suitable candidates.
- Manage candidate compliance, including Right to Work and pre-employment checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and start dates with internal departments.
- Keep candidate records and recruitment systems up to date.
- Work closely with the Technical and Bookings teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Monitor recruitment activity and achieve agreed KPIs.
- Support the continued growth and development of the recruitment function.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Confident to pick up the phone
- Has previous recruitment experience.
- Can confidently build rapport and communicate with candidates.
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple vacancies.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Has knowledge of recruitment compliance and Right to Work legislation.
- Experience recruiting within construction, engineering, electrical or similar industries is HIGHLY desirable.
