Recruitment Resourcer at Willmott Dixon Group, Oldham

We're looking for a Candidate Manager to join Willmott Dixon's established in-house recruitment team, working hybrid 3 days per week from Oldham and two days from home

Do you enjoy finding good people, building relationships and helping candidates take the next step in their careers?

With ambitious growth plans, this is an opportunity to make a real contribution to the people and teams delivering our projects. You'll recruit across a broad range of construction and support functions, getting to understand our business and what makes someone a good fit.

This could suit an experienced Resourcer who enjoys proactive sourcing, or a Recruitment Consultant looking to move in-house and focus on candidate relationships. You'll have the opportunity to follow those relationships beyond the offer stage and see the people you recruit build their careers with us.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with our Recruitment Managers, you'll help identify, engage and support candidates throughout the recruitment process. This will include:

• Proactive sourcing: Using LinkedIn Recruiter, our recruitment database, referrals, advertising and targeted searches to find relevant people, including those who aren't actively looking.
• Candidate conversations: Understanding someone's experience, motivations and priorities, then helping them assess whether an opportunity with Willmott Dixon is right for them.
• Managing applications: Reviewing applications, carrying out initial qualification calls and recommending suitable candidates with clear, useful feedback.
• Building talent pools: Developing relationships with people for current vacancies and future opportunities, particularly across roles we recruit regularly or find harder to fill.
• Supporting candidates: Preparing people for interviews, keeping them informed and providing timely feedback throughout the process.
• Market insight: Sharing what you're hearing about competitors, salaries, benefits and candidate expectations to help shape our approach.
• Keeping things organised: Maintaining accurate candidate records and working closely with Recruitment Managers, hiring managers and HR to keep recruitment moving.

What we're looking for

You'll be curious, organised and comfortable picking up the phone. You'll enjoy getting beyond a job title to understand someone's experience and what matters to them.

We'd like to hear from you if you have experience sourcing and engaging permanent candidates, either within an agency or an in-house recruitment team.

Essential Criteria
Recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
A high level of organisational skills.
A track record in communicating with people at all levels.

Desirable Citeria
Degree or equivalent level qualification.
Experience of LinkedIn Recruiter.
Construction Recruitment Agency experience
