Great recruiters aren't just hired. They're developed.

At Precision People, we're investing in the future of our business, and that starts with our people.

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment & Training Manager to help us transform how we attract, onboard, develop and retain recruitment talent.

This is more than an internal recruitment or training position. It's an opportunity to take real ownership, introduce fresh ideas and influence how our business develops its people.

We want someone who understands what makes a successful recruitment consultant, knows how to bring out the best in individuals and believes that high performance and a supportive working environment should go hand in hand.

If you're passionate about recruitment, love developing people and want the freedom to make meaningful improvements, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with our leadership team, taking responsibility for improving the entire employee development journey.

From identifying the right talent and creating effective onboarding programmes to coaching experienced consultants and supporting team leaders, you'll play a central role in building stronger, more successful teams.

Crucially, you'll have the autonomy and authority to challenge existing processes, implement improvements and introduce initiatives that make a measurable difference.

We're looking for someone who can combine commercial recruitment expertise with a genuine passion for people development.

Someone who understands that long-term success isn't simply about hitting targets. It's about giving people the skills, confidence, support and direction they need to perform consistently.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Recruiting the Right People
  • Leading our internal recruitment strategy and managing the full hiring process.
  • Identifying and attracting talented individuals who align with our business and culture.
  • Working with hiring managers to improve candidate assessment and selection.
  • Developing recruitment processes that prioritise long-term suitability and potential.
  • Creating a positive, professional candidate experience from initial contact through to appointment.
Transforming Onboarding & Training
  • Reviewing and improving our existing onboarding and training programmes.
  • Creating structured development plans that give new starters the best possible foundation.
  • Delivering practical, engaging training across the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Establishing clear expectations, achievable milestones and regular development reviews.
  • Ensuring new consultants receive consistent support as they develop their skills and confidence.
Coaching & Developing Existing Teams
  • Providing hands-on coaching and mentoring to consultants across our Permanent and Contract divisions.
  • Working with experienced recruiters to strengthen performance, increase billings and develop their capabilities.
  • Identifying skill gaps and introducing targeted training initiatives.
  • Supporting underperforming consultants through constructive coaching and structured improvement plans.
  • Working alongside team leaders to improve coaching techniques, leadership capability and team performance.
Driving Positive, Lasting Change
  • Reviewing existing recruitment, training and development practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Introducing new approaches that strengthen employee engagement and retention.
  • Developing a consistent coaching and development culture across the business.
  • Using performance data to identify trends, measure progress and improve outcomes.
  • Working directly with senior leadership to implement meaningful changes that support both our people and commercial objectives.
What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced agency recruitment professional who understands the industry, enjoys developing others and has the confidence to make things happen.

Ideally, you'll have:
  • At least five years' experience within agency recruitment.
  • A strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including business development, candidate sourcing and client management.
  • Proven experience training, coaching or mentoring recruitment consultants.
  • Experience improving individual or team performance.
  • The ability to develop structured onboarding and training programmes.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence people at all levels.
  • A commercially focused mindset combined with a genuine interest in employee development.
  • The confidence to challenge established ways of working and implement positive change.
You might currently be a Recruitment Manager, Training Manager, Learning & Development Manager or an experienced Senior Consultant who has taken responsibility for developing others.

We're more interested in your ability to develop successful recruiters than your current job title.

You'll play a central role in making that happen.
