DAY SHIFT
My client, a leading Waste & Recycling company are looking for a Recycling Operative to join the team.
Recycling Operative - Responsibilities:
- Full site operations of a recycling / energy process plant.
- Operating and monitoring plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production process.
- Carrying out routine inspections, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant changeovers in line with operating procedures.
- Ensuring the plant operates within defined parameters while fully complying with HSE legislation, site rules, and company policies.
- Supporting the permit-to-work system, including isolations, lock-off/tag-out, and safe systems of work.
- Responding effectively to plant faults, alarms, and abnormal operating conditions to minimise downtime.
Recycling Operative - Skills and Attributes
- Experience in a recycling, waste, renewable energy, industrial process industry.
- Experience operating plant machinery - telehandlers, forklifts, loading shovels etc .
- Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance
- Computer literate
