Refrigeration Engineer

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer with chiller experience.

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Company Van + Overtime + Call Out

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing Building Services team. Working across a range of commercial properties, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults across a variety of HVAC equipment.
• Service and maintain split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and packaged AC systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with current Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional standards at all times.
• Participate in the on-call rota where required.

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience within Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

• Chiller experience preferred.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Experience working within Commercial Building Services or Facilities Management.
• IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
