This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced senior care leader to join an ambitious and well-funded elderly care group at a genuinely exciting stage of its UK growth.

Backed by an established group with significant experience within the US care market, the organisation is making a major investment into the UK elderly care sector, with ambitious plans to build a high-quality portfolio of care homes across the country.

As part of this growth, we are looking for an outstanding Regional Director to take responsibility for a portfolio of homes across the North West, while playing a key role in the continued development and expansion of the region.

This isn't simply about overseeing an existing portfolio. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the organisation, help shape the region and become an integral part of its long-term journey.

The Role

As Regional Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of elderly care homes, working closely with Home Managers and the wider senior leadership team to ensure consistently high standards of care, strong operational performance and sustainable growth.

You will be a visible and inspirational leader who understands how to get the very best from people. You'll support and challenge your Home Managers, build strong leadership teams and create a culture where quality, accountability and commercial performance go hand in hand.

As the organisation continues to expand, you will also play an important role in the mobilisation and integration of new homes within the region.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership and operational oversight across multiple elderly care homes throughout the North/ North West
• Leading, developing and supporting Home Managers to build high-performing teams
• Driving excellent standards of care, quality, compliance and resident experience
• Maintaining strong CQC performance across the portfolio
• Monitoring operational and financial performance, including occupancy, staffing, agency usage and budgets
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing clear action plans where required
• Supporting the mobilisation, acquisition and integration of new services as the portfolio grows
• Building a strong regional culture with clear expectations around quality, leadership and accountability
• Working closely with the executive team to deliver the organisation's wider growth strategy
• Developing strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and other key stakeholders

About You

We are looking for an established multi-site elderly care leader with a strong operational track record and experience of overseeing services supporting individuals with complex needs.

Most importantly, you'll be a great leader of people.

You'll know how to develop Home Managers rather than simply manage them, how to bring teams with you through periods of growth and change, and how to create a culture where people understand both what is expected of them and why it matters.

You will ideally have:

• Significant multi-site leadership experience within elderly residential and/or nursing care
• Experience working with complex needs and overseeing services delivering complex care
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance and quality frameworks
• Experience managing the operational and commercial performance of multiple care homes
• A track record of developing successful Home Managers and senior operational teams
• Experience improving quality, occupancy and overall home performance
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining visible and connected to the homes
• Experience supporting acquisitions, new openings or portfolio growth would be highly advantageous
