Regional Manager - West Wales (Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire)
Vetro Recruitment is working with a not-for-profit provider supporting adults with learning disabilities to recruit a Regional Manager for West Wales (Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire). This is a full-time role, 38 hours per week, with a salary of £39,000 to £44,000 per annum plus a £1,000 car allowance.
In West Wales, you will provide leadership across approximately 18 supported living houses, supporting around 35 people, and leading a team of approximately 8 Supported Living Managers. The Regional Manager role reports to the Head of Support and Inclusion (Wales) and focuses on driving high-quality, person-centred support, strong regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing as Regional Manager (West Wales)
- Providing inclusive, values-led leadership to Supported Living Managers and their teams
- Developing managers to improve performance, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Promoting a culture where people are actively involved in decisions about their lives
- Supporting community integration and effective communication within local communities
- Overseeing recruitment processes, including selecting new staff and reviewing performance during probation
- Carrying out quality monitoring visits and leading continuous improvement activity
- Building and maintaining partnerships with commissioners, health professionals, and external stakeholders
- Ensuring homes meet CIW standards and relevant legislative requirements
- Using data and IT systems to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure best value and sustainability
- Contributing to strategic planning and regional development across West Wales (Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire)
What we need from you
- Extensive experience managing teams supporting people with learning disabilities and varied support needs
- Regional Manager or similar leadership experience, including developing managers to improve compliance and performance
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of CIW standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
- Confident IT skills to gather, analyse, and report on performance data
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop managers to achieve high standards
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach, able to manage change positively
- Full UK driving licence, able to travel regularly across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire
