We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead and manage an Ofsted-registered, four-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children’s Residential Home in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager looking for their next challenge. We are also keen to hear from an exceptional Deputy Manager with a strong track record within an Ofsted-registered children’s residential EBD setting who is ready to take the next step into their first Registered Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the home.
  • Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds Ofsted requirements and complies with the Children’s Homes Regulations.
  • Provide high-quality care that promotes positive outcomes, development and wellbeing for children and young people.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and inspire a dedicated residential care team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, care quality, compliance, and practice.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing and child-centred environment within the home.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the service and ensure strong outcomes for the young people in your care.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager, or significant experience as a Deputy Manager with the capability and readiness to step into a Registered Manager position.
  • Proven experience working within an Ofsted-registered Children’s Residential EBD Home.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, quality standards and effective residential childcare practice.
  • Experience solely within Supported Living or Independent Supported Accommodation will not be considered for this position.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
