Registered Manager – Autism & Complex Needs

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hours: Full-time – 42 hours per week
Salary: Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a specialist care service supporting adults and young people with autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager or Senior Care professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and developing a strong, motivated care team.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and quality of the service, ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively and in line with regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting a team of care and support staff
  • Ensuring high standards of person-centred care
  • Developing and reviewing individual care and support plans
  • Managing staff rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Recruiting, inducting, training and developing team members
  • Conducting supervisions, appraisals and performance management
  • Maintaining safeguarding standards and responding appropriately to concerns
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, policies and procedures
  • Supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs
  • Working closely with families, professionals and external agencies
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement across the service
  • Participating in the management on-call provision

About You

We are looking for somebody with:

Previous experience supporting people with autism and/or complex needs

A strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

The confidence to manage staff, workloads and operational challenges

A flexible and proactive approach

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

An NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care would be desirable.
