The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a solo provision in Walsall. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining high standards of care and support.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a service from the ground up, working closely with the organisation’s leadership team to deliver exceptional outcomes for the young person in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, compassionate leadership and management for the solo provision.
- Ensure the service fully complies with Ofsted standards and other relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Recruit, train, and support staff to maintain a high-performing team culture.
- Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures in line with best practice.
- Build positive relationships with professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
- Lead with a commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor performance and contribute to achieving “Good” and “Outstanding” inspection outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- At least 2 years of experience in a Deputy Manager or Managerial role within a care or supported living setting.
- Sound understanding of Ofsted regulations and care standards.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering person-centred, high-quality care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including participation in on-call duties when required.
