Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care

An established and growing homecare provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead and develop its domiciliary care service in Essex

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of the service while leading a dedicated team and driving high standards of care.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to oversee the day-to-day operation and continued growth of the service. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional care delivery, maintaining regulatory compliance and developing strong relationships within the local community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the operational management of the homecare service.
  • Completing client consultations, care assessments, care planning and onboarding new service users.
  • Ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care that meets individual needs.
  • Managing client feedback, concerns and complaints, using these to continuously improve service quality.
  • Supporting business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with local stakeholders and referral partners.
  • Recruiting, developing and supporting care staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • Monitoring quality standards and implementing continuous improvements across the service.

About You

We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary or homecare services.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance requirements and adult social care legislation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support a successful team.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting the continued growth of the service.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
