Registered Manager – Oxfordshire County Council

Fox Morris Group are working to recruit Registered Manager

The Oxfordshire Children’s Homes work with our most vulnerable Children We Care for and

families.

The strategic aim of this service is to deliver integrated and individualised interventions 

and care, to promote best outcomes for children and their families.

Oxfordshire’s Children’s Homes offers an assessment and reunification home and medium to longterm homes with intensive support packages for up to four children aged between 12 – 17 years of age. 

Essential:

• Have a Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent (GCSE grade C; equivalent to a Grade 4). 
• Have a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent or is willing to undertake this whilst working in role (18 months)
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience within the last 5 years working in a residential childcare setting.
• Have an extensive experience of the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
• Excellent working knowledge of childcare legislation, guidance and regulations including Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015.
• Excellent working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Assurance Standards
• Detailed understanding of the government policy agenda and emerging proposals for the future with a specific focus on Children’s Residential Care.
• Experience of managing budgets and an understanding of the financial management of resources.
