About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for an experienced Registered Manager (RGN) to lead a welcoming, nurse-led elderly and dementia care home.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care. Leading a dedicated team within a 40-bed service, you will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a positive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the home
• Lead and support the clinical and care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, governance, and resident outcomes
• Oversee clinical governance, medication management, and safeguarding practices
• Develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
• Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance to ensure a sustainable service

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a management role
• Strong clinical leadership within an elderly nursing and dementia care setting
• Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding resident care and developing high-performing teams
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance quality care and operational performance
