Registered Manager
Up to £50,000 + Bonus + 45p Mileage | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm | Mid Wales

Are you an experienced Registered Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Manager looking for a Monday to Friday leadership role offering excellent benefits, genuine autonomy and opportunities for career progression?

We are recruiting for an experienced care leader to oversee a well-established community complex care operation covering Newtown, Welshpool and surrounding areas of Mid Wales.

The service currently delivers just under 2,000 hours of care per week, supporting adults and children with complex healthcare needs in their own homes.
You will join a large healthcare organisation with experienced clinical and operational teams, taking ownership of service delivery, staff development and continued growth.
We particularly welcome applications from Nurse Managers and Clinical Managers with strong operational experience, including those who have not previously held a registered management position.

Package & Benefits
  • Salary up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Bonus structure offering additional earning potential.
  • 45p per mile for eligible business travel.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm working hours.
  • Established operational and clinical support teams.
  • Autonomy to manage and develop the branch.
  • Opportunity to influence service improvements and growth.
  • Long-term career progression within a large healthcare organisation.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the branch, ensuring high-quality, safe and person-centred care is consistently delivered.

You will lead the operational team, oversee performance, maintain regulatory compliance and work closely with clinical colleagues to support the effective delivery of adult and paediatric care packages.

The position combines operational leadership, people management, quality assurance and service development, making it particularly attractive to experienced Nurse Managers looking to move into a broader leadership position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, care hours and overall service performance.
  • Lead, support and develop Client Managers, Care Coordinators and operational staff.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with clinical colleagues to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Manage recruitment, staff retention, supervision and workforce planning.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, case managers and healthcare professionals.
  • Resolve operational challenges, incidents and complaints effectively.
  • Support the mobilisation of new adult and paediatric care packages.
  • Develop relationships with commissioners and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
About You
We are looking for a confident, approachable and commercially aware manager who can lead teams, manage operational performance and maintain high standards of care.

We welcome applications from:
  • Registered Managers and Branch Managers.
  • Nurse Managers and Clinical Managers.
  • Clinical Services Managers.
  • Complex Care Managers.
  • Operations Managers.
  • Senior Nurses with substantial operational management experience.
You will ideally have:
  • Experience managing a care service, nursing team or healthcare operation.
  • Strong people management and operational leadership skills.
  • A background in community complex care, domiciliary care, nursing or a comparable regulated care setting.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
  • Experience managing staffing, service performance and operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership approach.
Previous adult or paediatric community complex care experience is desirable, but not essential for candidates with strong transferable management experience.

NMC registration is advantageous for nursing candidates, although suitably experienced non-nursing managers are equally encouraged to apply.
Why Apply? This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of an established operation rather than building a service from scratch.

You will benefit from experienced clinical support, a structured Monday to Friday working pattern and the autonomy to introduce improvements, develop your team and contribute to continued business growth.

The role offers an attractive combination of leadership responsibility, work-life balance, bonus potential and long-term career development.

If you are an experienced Registered Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Manager looking for your next challenge, we would welcome your application.
