We are seeking a skilled Registered Service Manager to join their team in Blackpool working to provide effective leadership and management across their supported living services.
- Provide effective leadership & management across 8 supported living services for adults with learning disability, autism and complex needs.
- Lead your teams to provide the best quality of care and support, providing guidance, support and supervision.
- Ensure that you build positive relationships with the people being supported and their families, and other colleagues and professionals.
- This role will require someone to be registered and work alongside the other RCM overseeing other services.
- Lead on staff supervision, coaching, training coordination, and performance management to support a high-performing team.
- Ensure accurate documentation, audits, and compliance checks are completed to required standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to support individuals and maintain effective service delivery.
- Promote a person-centred culture that respects choice, dignity, and independence.
- Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans promptly.
- This role will require a driver with access to your own car to enable you to attend services, and manage your time between service visits and actioning management tasks, team meetings, supervisions based at the local office.
- The role will require flexibility and to be flexible for occasional shifts ( early or late) to be visible at your services. On call requirements.
About YOU:
- Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of working within supported living services within a leadership role and have previous experience of leading and developing teams.
- You will be a positive and professional individual with the passion and person centred approach to your role. Your ability to motivate others and deliver the required outcomes will be key.
- Demonstrable leadership capability, including the ability to motivate teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding principles and the ability to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. Knowledge of CQC and the guideline and legislation requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting.
- Sound decision-making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and positive outcomes for individuals.
- Relevant qualification in health and social care or management (or equivalent experience) is required. ( Level 4/5 in Leadership & Management).
