Are you an experienced Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Product Stewardship professional looking for a role with greater influence ?
If you have strong experience of REACH and CLP legislation within the chemical manufacturing sector, this is an opportunity to become the European regulatory expert for a global manufacturer, helping shape regulatory strategy, support new product development and influence key business decisions.
Reporting to the US Director of Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability, you'll work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Sustainability, ensuring regulatory compliance supports innovation and business growth across Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Regulatory Compliance and Product Stewardship across European markets.
- Ensure compliance with REACH, CLP and wider UK & EU chemical legislation.
- Provide regulatory guidance throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Monitor legislative changes and translate regulatory requirements into practical commercial solutions.
- Partner with R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Sustainability teams on new and existing products.
- Represent the business with industry associations and regulatory bodies.
- Help build and develop the UK & European Regulatory Compliance function.
About You
We're keen to hear from professionals working in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Compliance, Product Stewardship or Classification Labelling & Packaging within the chemical manufacturing sector.

You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience applying REACH and CLP regulations within the chemical industry.
- Experience interpreting UK and EU chemical legislation in a commercial manufacturing environment.
- A scientific degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and Packaging & Packaging Waste legislation would be advantageous, but is not essential.
