Repairs Planner - Temp to Perm

Location: Southgate

Rate: Up to £19 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Southgate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planner looking for a temp-to-perm position, working within a busy repairs and maintenance environment and coordinating operatives, appointments and works to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage daily diaries for engineers and operatives.

   

• Book and coordinate appointments with residents.

   

• Allocate repairs and maintenance jobs to the relevant operatives.

   

• Liaise with residents regarding appointments, access and repair requirements.

   

• Liaise with operatives, subcontractors, supervisors and the wider repairs team.

   

• Monitor outstanding repairs and ensure jobs are progressed within agreed timescales.

   

• Reschedule appointments where required and communicate changes to residents.

   

• Update repairs systems with accurate job, appointment and resident information.

   

• Deal with queries and issues relating to repairs and appointments.

   

• Monitor workloads and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.

   

• Escalate any issues that may affect the delivery of works.

   

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Works Planner, Maintenance Planner, or similar.

   

• Experience within social housing, property services, repairs and maintenance is highly desirable.

   

• Experience scheduling engineers or operatives and managing daily workloads.

   

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

   

• Confident liaising with residents, operatives, subcontractors and management.

   

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

   

• Good IT and administration skills.

   

• Experience using repairs or maintenance systems would be advantageous.

   

• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
