Are you a Research Operations Manager, Laboratory Operations Manager or similar with experience managing scientific or research projects, looking for a highly varied leadership role within an established specialist research organisation?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established specialist research and consultancy organisation delivering scientific projects for clients across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth and increasing project complexity, the business is looking to strengthen its research operations and build a more structured, scalable and resilient department.

In this role, you will manage multiple research projects from protocol development through to final reporting, ensuring deadlines, resources, client expectations and technical standards are met. You will track project progress, identify risks or delays and implement practical solutions to keep work on schedule.

You will also work closely with the Research Director to improve operational processes, project visibility, quality assurance and audit readiness. A key part of the role will involve training and supporting the team across project management, protocol writing, report writing, client communication and research delivery standards.

This role would suit someone with experience in research, laboratory or scientific operations who is confident managing projects, clients, deadlines and quality standards within a busy commercial environment.

The Role

• Manage multiple research projects from protocol development through to final reporting
• Track deadlines, resources and project risks, putting solutions in place where required
• Manage client communication and ensure technical and quality standards are met
• Improve operational systems while training and developing the wider research team - Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:00pm

• Experience managing research, laboratory or scientific projects or similar
• Experience managing clients, deadlines and quality standards
• Commutable to Bingley, West Yorkshire
