Are you organised, personable and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service? This is an exciting opportunity for a Reservation Agent to join a luxury country hotel in Bridport, playing a key role in creating a seamless and personalised guest journey from the initial enquiry through to arrival and throughout their stay.
This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity for someone with hospitality, reservations or customer service experience who enjoys building relationships with guests and wants to develop their career within a high-end hotel environment. You'll work from the office three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of your working week.

Key Responsibilities
As Reservation Agent, you'll be an important point of contact for guests and will help ensure every booking is handled accurately and professionally, whether working from the office or remotely.
- Manage telephone, email and online enquiries, taking accurate reservations and recording guest preferences, dietary requirements and special requests.
- Provide knowledgeable, personalised information about the hotel, food and beverage, activities, wellness and other guest experiences.
- Proactively upsell experiences, upgrades and hotel offerings to enhance guest stays and maximise revenue.
- Liaise closely with F&B, Kitchen, Guest Relations, Wellness and wider hotel teams to ensure guest requirements are communicated effectively.
- Manage amendments, cancellations, special requests and other reservation administration accurately and efficiently.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have experience in hospitality, reservations, guest relations or customer service, although the right attitude and approach are equally important. You'll also be comfortable working independently when remote and collaborating effectively with colleagues in the office.
- Previous hospitality, reservations, guest relations or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident and professional when communicating with guests by telephone, email and face-to-face.
- Commercially aware, with the confidence to upsell and recommend relevant experiences and services.
- A friendly, proactive team player who remains calm under pressure and is comfortable working independently, remotely, weekends and busy periods.
Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential for office-based working. The role is hybrid, with three days per week based in the Bridport office and the remainder working remotely. Weekend working is also required.
