Resident Liaison Officer job in West London – supporting a major £75m–£80m residential regeneration and retrofit scheme, offering the opportunity to work on a flagship long-term project within a live residential environment.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a leading main contractor delivering a large-scale residential regeneration programme in West London. Working through Skilled Careers, you will act as the key link between residents, the site team, and client stakeholders, ensuring residents remain informed, supported, and engaged throughout the construction process.
The successful candidate will have experience working on occupied residential refurbishment, retrofit, regeneration, or social housing projects and be confident managing resident communications across a busy live environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact for residents throughout the construction programme
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, client representatives, housing teams, and site management
- Carrying out resident consultations, property visits, and pre-start meetings
- Managing access arrangements and coordinating appointments with residents
- Handling resident enquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring appropriate assistance is provided throughout the works
- Providing regular project updates through newsletters, meetings, drop-in sessions, and resident communications
- Maintaining accurate records of resident interactions, access requirements, and project updates
- Working closely with operational teams to minimise disruption and ensure a positive customer experience
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, refurbishment, retrofit, regeneration, or planned maintenance projects
- Strong understanding of working within occupied residential environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience managing resident engagement, access arrangements, and complaint resolution
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, client teams, and site management
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with accurate record keeping
- Empathetic, professional, and approachable personality
- Full UK driving licence preferred
