Are you an experienced, customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) looking for your next contract in West London

We are urgently recruiting a skilled Resident Liaison Officer to join an established social housing contractor delivering a high-volume kitchen and bathroom renewal programme across occupied housing stock in Ealing.

Acting as the vital link between residents, site management, and trade operatives, you will oversee tenant engagement from initial home surveys and colour choice selections through to installation access and final customer sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Start Surveys & Choice Selections: Visit tenants in their homes to explain works schedules, complete pre-start surveys, and guide residents through kitchen and bathroom finish choices.

  • Access Coordination: Manage daily property access, liaising closely with site supervisors and sub-contractors to keep multi-trade replacement schedules running on time.

  • Occupied Home Support: Support residents through the temporary disruption of live plumbing and electrical works, ensuring temporary facilities are arranged where required.

  • Issue Resolution & De-escalation: Handle tenant queries, manage access refusals, and resolve minor on-site disputes before they turn into formal complaints.

  • Handover & Administration: Maintain accurate resident logs, track job progress on internal systems, and conduct post-completion satisfaction surveys.

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

  • Prior RLO Experience: Essential. Proven background working as an RLO or TLO within social housing or local authority planned maintenance contracts.

  • Kitchen & Bathroom Scheme Knowledge: Practical understanding of internal refurbishment programmes in live/occupied environments.

  • Full Mobility: Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to your own vehicle for daily estate visits across Ealing.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent conflict-resolution skills, strong empathy, clear communication, and high organisational ability.
