A leading London law firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Residential Property Paralegal to join its highly regarded Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to complex, high-value residential property matters while working alongside experienced lawyers and PAs within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The team advises individuals, families, developers and private banks on prime residential property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, developments and leasehold matters.



The Residential Property Paralegal's Role

  • Supporting fee earners and PAs across a varied residential property caseload
  • Assisting with post-exchange and post-completion matters
  • Preparing SDLT submissions and payments
  • Making Land Registry applications and responding to requisitions
  • Drafting and serving notices, statutory declarations and statements of truth
  • Ordering Land Registry documents and planning/building regulation records
  • Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing electronic matter files and document control using NetDocuments
  • Supporting transaction progression across complex property matters
  • Assisting with client onboarding, AML/KYC and conflict checks
  • Carrying out legal and factual research
  • Preparing reports, appendices and supporting documentation
  • Updating data rooms and extranets
  • Assisting with client meetings, presentations and business development events
  • Providing wider paralegal and administrative support to the Property team during busy periods


The Residential Property Paralegal

  • Previous experience in a property-focused paralegal role would be preferred
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working independently and managing competing deadlines
  • Proactive, flexible and willing to take ownership of tasks
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to follow complex procedures accurately
  • Good IT and document management skills
  • Professional, personable and collaborative approach
  • Genuine interest in residential property law
