A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is looking to add an experienced residential property professional to its Cardiff team.

This is an opportunity to join a growing conveyancing practice where you'll have the support of an established legal business while still having the opportunity to influence how the team works and develops.

The role would suit a Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer looking for a progressive environment with genuine scope for development.

The Role

You will manage your own varied residential property caseload, providing a high-quality service to clients from initial instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing residential sales and purchases.
• Handling remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Reviewing and reporting on title.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professional contacts.
• Managing transactions efficiently and proactively.
• Keeping clients informed throughout the process.
• Identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
• Ensuring files are managed in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Contributing to the wider team's development and continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines sound technical knowledge with a strong focus on client service.

You will ideally have:

• Experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or equivalent experience.
• Good technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
• Strong organisational and file-management skills.
• Excellent communication and client care.
• The ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
• A commercially aware and pragmatic approach.
• Confidence dealing with clients and professional referrers.
• Good IT and case management system skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team.
