Residential Support Worker – Adults Mental Health & Complex Needs in Southport

Location: Southport
Pay: £16.23 per hour
Contract: 12 weeks
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Days: 8am – 8pm
Nights: 8pm – 8am

We are currently recruiting Residential Support Workers for a 12-week contract within an established adult mental health and complex needs service in Southport.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivating, engaging, positive and enjoys making a real difference to people's lives.

You will support adults with a range of mental health needs, including depression, self-harm, anxiety and emotional distress. The role focuses on building positive relationships, encouraging independence, providing emotional support and keeping residents engaged in meaningful activities.

There is no PEG feeding, tracheostomy care or personal care involved. This is a support-focused role rather than a clinical care position.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in mental health, residential support, supported living or complex needs. You must be confident supporting individuals who may experience emotional distress or challenging behaviour and be able to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
