Retail Travel Manager Duties – each day will not be the same
- Day‑to‑day running and performance of the branch.
- Lead, motivate and develop your team, ensuring standards remain high while driving sales and operational efficiency.
- Taking full ownership of store performance, including sales targets and KPIs
- Leading the team on exceptional customer service standards across all channels.
- Coaching, motivating and developing colleagues to reach their full potential
- Recruiting, onboarding and training new team members
- Monitoring individual and team performance.
- Driving sales through effective upselling and promotional activity
- Analysing performance data and implementing improvements where needed
- Working closely with senior management on strategy, forecasting and growth
- Creating a positive, supportive and results‑driven working environment
Retail Travel Manager – Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Retail Travel Management role within a travel agency is essential.
- A strong background in achieving sales targets in a retail environment
- Confident leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
