You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months. You’ll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.
I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Roofer, Roofing Operative, Multi Trade Operative or General Builder with strong roofing experience.
As a Roofer you will be:
- Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
- Rebuilding and repairing chimneys
- Completing lead flashing repairs
- Repairing and replacing ridge tiles
- Carrying out general roofing repairs
- Completing bricklaying and slabbing work when required
- Strong experience completing general roofing repairs
- Bricklaying and slabbing experience
- The ability to work across a varied range of repairs
- Reliable transport to travel independently to the council depot
- Six months of consistent temporary work
- Flatbed or van provided for work duties during the day
- Varied roofing and general building work
- Opportunity to work with an established local authority
Based in Atherstone, you’ll need to be able to make your own way to the council depot each day. A work vehicle will be available for completing jobs during working hours but cannot be taken home.
