The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established building maintenance contractor based in Bolton, covering projects across the UK.
This Roofer position will involve carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive roofing repairs on a variety of commercial and industrial properties. The successful Roofer will have experience working on both flat roofing and pitched roofing systems and be happy travelling nationwide, including regular overnight stays.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40-hour working week
- Regular overtime available
- Nationwide travel required
- Overnight stays required where necessary (accommodation and expenses provided)
- Carry out planned roofing maintenance works.
- Attend reactive roofing call-outs and emergency repairs.
- Repair and maintain flat roofing systems including felt, EPDM and GRP.
- Repair and maintain pitched roofs including slate, tile and leadwork.
- Identify roofing defects and recommend suitable repairs.
- Complete minor roofing installations where required.
- Work safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
- Complete job sheets and maintenance reports accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service on client sites.
- Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
- Previous experience as a Roofer.
- Experience with both flat and pitched roofing systems.
- Background in planned and reactive maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Happy to travel nationwide and stay away from home during the working week.
- CSCS Card desirable.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- £34,000 - £40,000 basic salary
