An established roofing contractor is looking for an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager to take responsibility for projects across the North West and Yorkshire.
The company delivers both flat and pitched roofing projects and is looking for someone who understands roofing properly, ideally with experience managing several contracts, coordinating site teams and ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard.
This would suit an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager looking to join a long-established specialist contractor with a broad roofing capability and a strong emphasis on quality and safe delivery.

Location - The company is based in Greater Manchester.
Projects are predominantly across the North West and Yorkshire, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling to sites across these regions as required.

Its capability covers both traditional and modern roofing systems. On the pitched roofing side, the company undertakes slating, tiling and leadwork, while its flat roofing experience includes built-up felt, single-ply, EPDM and GRP systems.
Projects range from roofing repairs and renewals through to complete roofing packages. The company has worked across offices, hotels, schools, healthcare buildings, religious buildings and other commercial and residential properties.

About the Role
As Roofing Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of roofing projects from pre-start through to completion.
The role will involve balancing site visits with planning and coordination, ensuring projects are properly resourced and that clients, site teams and suppliers remain aligned throughout the works.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing multiple flat and pitched roofing contracts

Planning and coordinating projects from pre-start through to completion

Overseeing site teams and subcontractors

Monitoring programme, quality and project performance

Maintaining health and safety standards across live projects

Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider management team
Candidate Background
The strongest candidate will already have experience delivering roofing projects and understand the practical requirements of managing roofing works on live construction sites.
You should ideally have:

Previous experience as a Roofing Contracts Manager, Contracts Manager or experienced Roofing Project Manager

Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems

Experience of pitched roofing, including slate and tile roofing

Experience managing multiple roofing projects and site teams

A good understanding of health and safety within roofing and construction

The ability to manage clients, programmes and project delivery across multiple locations
Experience with systems such as built-up felt, single-ply, EPDM or other commercial flat roofing systems would be particularly relevant.
