Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a highly respected rural property consultancy to recruit a Rural Surveyor for its Suffolk team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor with a minimum of one year’s post-qualification experience to join an established and successful practice with a strong reputation across the region.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced rural team, you will provide professional surveying and property advice to a diverse portfolio of private clients, landowners and rural businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional rural surveying and estate management advice.
  • Undertaking property and land management work across a varied rural portfolio.
  • Assisting with valuations and professional reports.
  • Managing landlord and tenant matters, including agricultural and rural leases.
  • Advising clients on rural property matters and helping to maximise the value of their assets.
  • Supporting the management and development of rural estates.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other professional advisers.
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the rural team.
About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • MRICS qualified with at least 1 year’s PQE.
  • Experienced within a rural surveying, estate management or rural property environment.
  • Commercially aware, with strong technical and professional skills.
  • Confident dealing directly with clients and building long-term relationships.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ideally experienced in agricultural tenancies, valuations and rural estate management.
