Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner looking for your next locum opportunity within a supportive Children's Safeguarding service

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join the Children's Safeguarding Team in North Hertfordshire, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced children's social worker to make a real difference to children, young people and families.

This role would suit a confident practitioner who is passionate about safeguarding, enjoys working with complexity, and has the experience to support high-quality practice within a busy front-line service.

The Role:

Manage a complex caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding intervention
Undertake Child Protection, Child in Need and safeguarding assessments
Complete effective planning and direct work with children, young people and families
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
Support colleagues through advice, guidance and reflective practice
Contribute to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people

Essential Requirements:
Social Work England (SWE) registration
Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in a permanent local authority children's social work role
Strong safeguarding, child protection and assessment experience
Senior Practitioner / advanced practice experience desirable
Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the nature of the role

Pay Rate: £42.50 per hour Umbrella
