We are currently seeking a highly qualified sales administrator to join a prestigious car dealer group located in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to advance their careers within a reputable, privately owned dealership. The sales administrator will be essential in supporting the sales department, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.

Duties of a Sales Administrator:
  • Processing vehicle orders, registrations, tax documentation, stock movements, transfers, dealer swaps, and handovers
  • Communicating effectively with manufacturers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Maintaining precise records of vehicles, stock lists, demonstrator fleets, and sales documentation across all systems
  • Producing reports, conducting file audits, supporting profit checks, and managing administrative housekeeping
  • Overseeing the purchase, stock management, funding, and compliance for used vehicles
  • Assisting the sales team with administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations across new, used, and corporate sales
Requirements of a Sales Administrator:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in motor trade administration
  • Proven track record in sales administration; warranty or service admin experience may also be considered
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to multi-tasking
  • Confident communicator capable of liaising effectively with colleagues, manufacturers, and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with Kerridge or similar systems is advantageous
  • A team player with integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach
