Sales Associate

PureJewels · Direct employer

We are looking for a confident, personable and commercially minded Sales Associate to join our showroom team.

You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers and play an important role in delivering the PureJewels experience. This is more than transactional retail; we want you to understand the customer's journey, build genuine relationships and help them discover jewellery that has meaning for them.

You will work across our fine jewellery collections, 22ct gold jewellery, diamonds and bespoke commissions, developing strong product knowledge while contributing towards individual and team sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, professional and personalised customer experience.
  • Understand customer requirements and confidently recommend suitable pieces.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and support repeat business.
  • Develop excellent knowledge of our collections, craftsmanship, precious metals, gemstones and diamonds.
  • Introduce customers to our bespoke and made-to-order services where appropriate.
  • Manage enquiries across the showroom, telephone, WhatsApp and digital channels.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Process transactions accurately and support day-to-day showroom operations.
  • Maintain excellent visual presentation and merchandising standards.
  • Assist with stock management, product handling and other operational responsibilities.
  • Work closely with our atelier, production and wider team to provide customers with accurate information and updates.

About You

You will be naturally engaging, attentive and comfortable building relationships with customers from a wide range of backgrounds. You should enjoy sales while understanding that exceptional service and trust come first.

Previous experience in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, hospitality or consultative sales would be advantageous, although attitude, communication skills and a willingness to learn are equally important.

You should be:

  • Confident and articulate with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially aware and motivated by achieving results.
  • Customer-focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Interested in jewellery, design, craftsmanship and luxury.
  • Comfortable using digital systems and communicating with customers across different channels.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a close-knit, fast-moving independent business.
