Sales Manager - Off-Highway Rental in Newcastle under Lyme

What the job actually is, day to day

• Winning new rental business across construction, vacant property and security, and building a pipeline into higher-specification markets: rail, defence, critical national infrastructure, utilities and telecoms.
• Managing and growing the existing rental accounts, including a number of partner relationships through which our units reach site.
• Pricing rental deals properly, which means understanding what a unit costs us per day, what the market will bear, and where the margin actually comes from.
• Owning the pipeline and producing a monthly forecast the business can plan and buy stock against.
• Working closely with operations and engineering so that what you sell can actually be delivered and supported.
• Regular UK travel, with occasional overnight stays.
