The Opportunity

An established engineering business within the industrial water treatment sector is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK.

This is a consultative sales role focused on winning new business, developing existing accounts and working alongside engineering teams to deliver tailored technical solutions. You'll manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation, negotiation and close.

Applicants with water treatment sales experience are encouraged to apply, although engineers looking to move into a commercial or sales role will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business while developing existing customer relationships across the UK.

• Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to order.

• Work with engineering teams to develop technical proposals and solutions.

• Carry out customer visits and site surveys, identifying opportunities for equipment, projects and service contracts.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and contribute to future business growth.

About You

You'll ideally have experience selling industrial water treatment equipment, systems or services, or have a technical background within the industry and be looking to move into sales.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience within industrial water treatment or a related process engineering environment.

• Knowledge of technologies such as reverse osmosis, filtration, ion exchange, water softening or wastewater treatment.

• A commercial mindset with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
