Location: Leicester (Office Based)
Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE

Are you an organised and customer-focused administrator looking to progress your career within a growing commercial business? We are recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join a successful and market-leading organisation based in Leicester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service, or sales support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both customers and internal teams.

The Role

As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring customers receive an outstanding service from initial enquiry through to contract completion. You will work closely with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to manage quotations, tenders, pricing requests and ongoing account administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, preparing quotations, proposals and sales documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
  • Support customer onboarding and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and submit tenders within agreed deadlines.
  • Obtain, analyse and compare supplier pricing to identify competitive solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, managing pricing requests, renewals and contract queries.
  • Handle customer enquiries relating to contracts, billing, pricing and renewals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and proactive communication throughout the customer journey.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support new business opportunities.
  • Produce reports, pipeline updates and management information as required.

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience within a sales support, administration or customer service role.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to tenders, pricing or commercial administration would be beneficial.
