Trainee Account Manager
Job Description
  • Support the management of customer accounts by providing a high level of professional customer service.
  • Prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure accurate scheduling of warehouse shipments.
  • Work closely with the Outside Account Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers through telephone and email communication to build long-term relationships.
  • Produce reports on customer interactions, sales activity, and business transactions to support the sales function.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to speak with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, with the willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
  • A proactive and resilient approach with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
