What You'll Do:
To support the sales team in meeting customer needs through effective administration, project management, supplier engagement, compliance monitoring, reporting, and customer account support. The role is responsible for maintaining customer and supplier information, supporting service delivery, and ensuring compliance with company and environmental requirements.
- Manage projects including loss-making accounts, supplier exits, reverse selling initiatives, and supplier cost reductions.
- Resolve outstanding customer and supplier issues and complete allocated actions daily.
- Coordinate audits, reporting, scanning, debriefing, and implementation of audit findings.
- Prepare and distribute client reports including disposal, performance, audit, weight, and service schedule reports.
- Manage account administration including cancellations, address changes, and ownership changes.
- Monitor and respond to shared company inboxes.
- Maintain supplier compliance and disposal information records.
- Ensure Waste Transfer Notes and Service Agreements are completed before service commencement.
- Process service amendments and new service requirements in line with company procedures.
- Place service orders with subcontractors and manage supplier sourcing activities.
- Support tender submissions through supplier and pricing research.
- Review opportunities for savings, supplier changes, and landfill diversion initiatives.
- Maintain supplier postcode coverage and onboarding documentation.
- Manage annual compliance documentation and customer follow-up processes.
- Ensure customer and supplier data accuracy across systems and databases.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues proactively.
- Competent IT skills and experience maintaining databases and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of compliance and documentation processes.
