You will be joining a leading provider of Retirement Living services, committed to supporting older people to live independently in safe, welcoming and vibrant communities. Your New Role

As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Retirement Living scheme in Milton Keynes. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll play a key part in supporting residents to maintain their independence whilst ensuring the scheme remains safe, compliant and well managed.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the scheme.
• Supporting residents with tenancy sustainment and wellbeing.
• Carrying out resident welfare checks and providing signposting to support services.
• Managing low-level ASB cases, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
• Monitoring rent accounts and supporting arrears' prevention.
• Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor performance.
• Ensuring all health & safety and compliance checks are completed.
• Managing void properties and supporting the lettings process.
• Organising resident engagement activities to reduce social isolation.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and partner agencies.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

• Experience in social housing, sheltered housing, retirement living or supported housing.
• Knowledge of housing management and tenancy sustainment.
• Experience supporting older or vulnerable residents.
• Understanding of safeguarding, dementia, mental health and wellbeing.
• CIH Level 3 or 4 qualification.
• Experience managing contractors or staff.
