Scheme Manager

This is a temporary cover role supporting a retirement housing patch for a minimum of 3 months with the potential to be extended.
You'll step into a busy but manageable scheme with strong team support, full training and a welcoming office environment.
Experience in a similar housing role is essential.

£19 PAYE / £21 Umbrella
Monday to Friday 35 hours a week,
Enhanced DBS required
Mileage paid at 55p per mile


Your new role

• Court management - keeping the buildings welcoming, safe and compliant.
• Health & Safety - fire alarm tests, emergency lighting checks, hazard reporting, site systems and welfare checks.
• Housing management - daily contact with residents, support plans, low‑level ASB response, signposting and referrals.
• Resident engagement - creating a lively, active scheme, welcoming new residents and encouraging use of communal spaces.
• Customer support - spotting changing needs, maintaining professional boundaries and linking residents to external agencies.
• General duties - training, meetings and covering nearby schemes when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in retirement housing, supported housing, or older people's services (advantage).
• Able to manage a busy workload and conflicting priorities.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid at 55p).
