School caretaker

Temporary Position | Immediate Start

Working hours 8:00 - 17:00

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with a number of leading school trusts across the Liverpool area, and we are currently looking for a reliable and hands-on School Caretaker to join one of our partner schools on a temporary basis.

If you're practical, dependable and take pride in keeping a school safe, clean and well-maintained, we want to hear from you!

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs around the school
• Ensuring the school site is safe, secure and well maintained
• Opening and closing the school premises
• Completing routine health and safety checks
• Reporting and dealing with maintenance issues
• Setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events
• Liaising with contractors when required
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

• What we are looking for:

• Experience working as part of a team and using your own initiative.
• Effective customer service skills and being able to work to high standards.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and professional development.

  Requirements

  • To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment.
  • Right to work in the UK.
