Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.

Teach Now is recruiting for a fantastic independent specialist school in Croydon that is dedicated to supporting neuro-diverse learners, with the majority of students having Autism. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, caring team that takes a truly holistic approach to education and is committed to helping every student thrive.
With classes of no more than eight students, you'll have the time and support to build meaningful relationships, tailor your teaching and make a genuine difference every day.
The Role
• Teach Science to students in Years 7–11 with a range of learning abilities, from Year 4/5 curriculum levels through to GCSE.
• Adapt lessons and learning resources to meet individual learning needs and learning styles.
• Deliver engaging, practical and inclusive Science lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to support students' academic, social and emotional development.
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, respected and motivated to learn.
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching students with SEN, particularly those with Autism.
• Can confidently adapt the curriculum to support learners working at different academic levels.
• Is patient, compassionate and committed to inclusive education.
• Has strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
• Is passionate about helping every student achieve their personal best.
